Northeast Bank Donates to Hunger Program: Committed to Helping Feed Maine's Hungry

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and concern for its community, Northeast Bank has donated $1,500 to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program.

Northeast Bank will support Maine’s hungry by sponsoring the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program’s 3rd Annual Auction fundraiser which will take place November 20th at The Knights of Columbus Hall in Brunswick, from 5pm-8pm.

“Not only has Northeast Bank supported us financially but many of their employees volunteer for us at special events like this. They truly help us provide food for today and hope for tomorrow. It is groups like this that make our community such a great place to live for all.” said Cyndy Carney, Executive Director of Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program.

Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program is a non-profit United Way agency in Brunswick, Maine that is dedicated to assisting local hungry families. MCHPP offers on-site meals, food to prepare meals at home, and educational programs that empower and assist others to become more self-sufficient.
